festival/needsyou.jpg New Volunteers required!
29th January 2012
Planning for the 19th White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales is well under way and we are appealing to any CAMRA members to help out at the beer festival.

Our beer festival is organised and run by unpaid volunteers and we are always looking for volunteers, old and new, to join us. So if you'd like to help out, whether it's just for a few hours one evening or throughout the beer festival, you will be made most welcome. Don't worry you don't need any experience. The only condition for being a volunteer is that you are a CAMRA member.

If you would like to help out, even if it for a few hours then please email events@camra-dds.org.uk

images/ddc.gif Pubs & Planning
24th July 2011
Planning applications for a pub or club are of particular interest to CAMRA, particularly when the application relates to a significant change to the pub or club - such as a change of use.

For many years the branch has monitored these planning applications for many years and now we've made it possible for you to monitor these applications as well.

We've added a new page to the website that lists all the currently active planning applications that relate to a public house - click on the Planning App. link in the left-hand frame.

We'd be interested in your feedback. Email pubs.officer@camra-dds.org.uk.
